A Foundation in
Research-Backed Recovery.

CopperJoint was founded in 2014 by Stefano Starkel, who set out to apply copper ion-infused thread — and its research-backed odor-resistant properties — to compression and joint support. That focus on textile science earned CopperJoint a loyal following across the U.S. and internationally over the decade that followed.

In 2025, CopperJoint came under new ownership. The mission hasn't changed: we're still focused on bridging the gap between heavy clinical equipment and portable, wearable support — for the everyday athlete and the post-operative patient alike.

Guided by Clinical Science.

Dr. Nicholas Strasser

Medical Expert

Developed with Medical Input CopperJoint's product development process includes consultation with orthopedic and sports medicine professionals. Dr. Nicholas Strasser, a foot and ankle specialist, has served as a medical consultant — contributing perspective on anatomy, compression mechanics, and real-world wearability. Dr. Strasser serves in a consulting capacity. CopperJoint products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition.

Giving Back with Purpose.

At CopperJoint, we're committed to making a meaningful impact — not just through our products, but through our actions. We regularly donate gently used items and new products with damaged packaging to individuals and organizations in need. Whether it's supporting local veterans, community wellness programs, or underserved groups, our goal is to reduce waste while helping others move and live better.
