It should feel snug.
That firm hug is the compression working. Pick what you got to see how to put it on, check your size, and look after it.
Your size is marked inside: S, M, L, XL or 2XL.
Knee sleeves & knee brace
- Check the size first. For sleeves, measure around your thigh 5 inches above your kneecap and match it to the chart below.
- Sit down, knee slightly bent. Slide the sleeve up over your foot and calf.
- Center it on the kneecap. Pull it up in short tugs from the sides, not from the top edge.
- Smooth out wrinkles. Don’t fold or roll the top band. For the brace with straps, position the sleeve first, then fasten the straps snug, never cutting in.

Compression socks
- Turn it inside out to the heel. Reach in, pinch the heel and pull the leg inside out so only the foot is right side out.
- Foot in, heel in place. Line the heel of the sock up with your heel before going further.
- Ease it up a little at a time. Unroll it over your ankle and calf in short pulls. Dry hands, or rubber kitchen gloves, give a better grip.
- Smooth it out. No wrinkles at the ankle, and don’t fold the top band over.
For long compression socks, measure around your calf at its widest point. Between sizes? Size up for comfort.

Foot sleeves & ankle wrap
- Turn it inside out to the heel. Slip your toes and forefoot in, then line the heel opening up with your heel.
- Pull it into place. Bring the cuff up over your ankle and smooth it so nothing bunches under the arch.
- Straps and wraps go on last. With the sleeve or wrap in position, fasten the straps snug and supported, never cutting in.
- Check your shoe. It should still slip on without pressing a fold into your foot.

Calf sleeves
- Find the narrow end. The narrower opening goes toward your ankle.
- Slide it over your foot. Bunch it up first so it’s easier to get over the heel.
- Ease it up in short pulls. Stop just below the back of your knee.
- Smooth it out. No rolling or folding at the top.

Gloves, wrist & elbow sleeves
- Gloves: work your fingers in one at a time, then smooth the fabric down across the palm and back of the hand.
- Wrist sleeves and bands: slide over your hand and settle at the wrist crease, flat with no twist.
- Elbow sleeve: slide up your forearm and center it on the elbow with your arm slightly bent.
- Check your fingers. They should stay their normal color and feel, with full movement.

Hip brace & shoulder brace
- Loosen every strap first. It’s much easier to position a brace that isn’t already pulling.
- Position the brace. Hip brace: belt around the waist, support over the side you want supported. Shoulder brace: sleeve over the upper arm, strap across the chest.
- Then tighten. Fasten the main strap, then any secondary straps, snug and supported, never cutting in.
- Move around. Walk or raise your arm a few times and re-adjust so nothing slips or digs in.

Wear & care
How to wear
- Start with a few hours a day, then build up.
- Wear it during activity and while you recover.
- Most people find it feels more comfortable after several days of steady wear.
How to care
- Fasten any Velcro before washing so it doesn’t snag.
- Wash cold with like colors.
- Air dry, or machine dry on low.
- No bleach, no ironing.
- Heat breaks down the stretch fibers that create compression, so skip high heat every time.
When to replace
- With daily wear, most people find the fit starts to loosen after several months.
- When it no longer feels snug the way it did when new, it’s time for a new one.
